The Incredible Edible? Cell Model Quarter 1
Each student does their own project unless they are performing a skit, song, or video then it can be up to four total-but each student must fill out what they contributed to the project and grade their colleagues.
If it is a live performance then all the students involved must be from the same class.
DUE: Not to be done this school year 2008-2009
Biotechnology Report Quarter 3
Human genetic disorders; DNA fingerprinting, genetically modified foods, gene therapy, genome mapping, cloning; cancer; or stem cell technology.
DUE: TBA.
Each student does their own report!

Life Diversity Project Quarter 4
For Due Date for website 5/20 for Block A and for Block B 5/21
Here is the link website builder and host: http://www.weebly.com
Information Links: (the Study Sites webpage has many search engines and online encyclopedias that are helpful too).
Below is a list of a view useful sites (please inform me of any great sites I can add)--mostly for animals:
- University of California Museum of Paleontology
- University of Michigan Site on Animal Diversity
- Enviroweb
- Natural Perspective
- University of Minnesota
- Diversity of Life Web Index
- Encyclopedia of Life--it is not complete but potentially awesome in its scope and depth of knowledge.
- Tree Of Life
- Animal Species Photos (a collection of 104,765 images of plants, animals, fossils, people, and landscapes.
- Wikipedia --is generally reliable too for science information.
